Step 1: Make a loop at one end of the steel leader.
Step 2: Insert the mono leader into the loop.
Step 3: Holding the loop end firmly, make 5 wraps around the loop with the mono leader.
Step 4: Hold the wraps together firmly in place and insert the free end of the mono leader back into the loop. Take note that the mono leader should be inserted at the opposite side from which it was inserted in Step 2.
Step 5: Tighten the wraps by pulling the mono and steel leader in opposite direction.
Step 6: Use the loose end of the mono leader to make 5 wraps around itself and tighten.
Step 7: Trim off the excess steel and mono leader and your line to line connection is complete.
